Elkhorn Peak hosted its first-ever Winemaker Dinner, a two night event that spanned Valentine's Day weekend -- it was a celebration of love, wine, and exquisite dining. The ambiance was intimate, with roses everywhere, and it was hosted at a charming, locally loved restaurant in American Canyon called Valentina’s Kitchen.

For two nights only, Valentina’s Kitchen was closed to the public and reserved just for Elkhorn Peak guests. The evening featured a four-course prix fixe menu, thoughtfully crafted to complement our finest wines. Each dish highlighted fresh, seasonal ingredients, bringing out the best in every sip and bite.

THE MENU:

Starter:

2023 Brut Rose (New wine!)

Served with a seared scallop appetizer

First course:

Paired with 2019 Pinot Noir

Second course:

Smoked Duck Breast Salad

Israeli Couscous, Blood Orange, Zucchini & Pistachios

With Blood Orange Vinaigrette

Paired with 2011 Pinot Noir

Third course:

Braised Beef Short Ribs

with Mascarpone Polenta, Shaved Brussels Sprouts, Pomegranate Seeds and Short Rib Jus

Dessert:

Chocolate Pot de Crème for Two
